The city of Fort Lauderdale is situated on the south-east coast of Florida, just north of Miami, and is often referred to as “the Venice of America”, thanks to its canal system and waterfront homes. Other Fort Lauderdale attractions include the Beachfront Promenade, and the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.
